The public company Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the railway and tram lines dedicated to passenger transport dependent on the Generalitat Valenciana. Among the maintenance tasks for the railway lines in the province of Valencia, assigned to the Maintenance Area, are the preventive and corrective maintenance tasks of the low-voltage electrical installations, existing in Surface Stations, Halts, Tram Stops, Administrative Complexes and Metrovalencia Workshops. For the development of these works, FGV does not have its own means for their execution, and as with the rest of the current lines, it has resorted to contracts with external companies for the formalisation of successive service contracts for the maintenance of this type of installation.
