Germany – Construction works for power plants and heating plants – REB, Los 4f: Planung, Lieferung, Montage, Prüfung und Anschluss von 110 kV/ 10 kV/ 0,4 kV Kabeln zwischen den Primärkomponenten und Mittelspannungsanlagen, Projekt: Reuter Electrical Backbone (REB)

Within the framework of the coal phase-out by 2030 in Berlin, the transformation of the existing plant stock at the Reuter site into the future plant stock will be implemented gradually in several sub-projects. The sub-project Reuter Electrical Backbone "REB" includes the transformation of the electrical system at the site. This includes, among other things, the planning of a 380/110/10kV substation (in two construction phases) including the electrical connection to the transmission/supply networks as well as the electrical connection of the sub-projects and existing plants. The implementation of the REB project will be realised through EU-wide tenders by means of 9 lots: - Lot 1 Construction (in execution)* - Lot 2 Electrical Engineering <= 10kV (in execution)* - Lot 3 a: Two 110/10,5/10,5kV transformers (in execution)* - Lot 4 a/b: 1x SF6-free 110kV-GIS system (12 bays) and 1x 380kV-GIS (2 bays) [TED No.: 471507-2025] - Lot 4 c/d: Two 400/110kV grid transformers (300 MVA) and two 110/22,5kV distribution transformers (125 MVA) [TED No.: 178149-2026] - Lot 4 e: Planning, supply and cabling of the secondary technology (inter alia to primary technology) [TED No.: 474497-2025] - Lot 4 f: Planning, supply, installation, testing and connection of 110 kV/ 10 kV/ 0,4 kV cables between the primary components and medium-voltage systems, [this notice] *Please note: Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3a have already been awarded and are in execution. Lot 4f essentially includes the following supplies and services: a) Planning services Detailed design based on an existing preliminary design for the following trades: cable routes, grounding, lightning protection/equalisation potential and general electrical installations, e.g. lighting, power sockets, etc. b) Main cable routes Construction of various main cable routes for 110 kV, 10 kV, low voltage and control cables on overhead steel structures, e.g. bridges, as well as in various underground channels and shaft structures. Total length: approx. 4,000 m, approx. 200 fittings, over 250 brackets. c) 110-kV cable systems Installation planning, supply and installation of four 110-kV cable systems for connecting various 110-kV systems and operating equipment, including the production of end terminations and joints, seals, support structures, cable clamps and associated seals and bushings or secondary steel construction: 2 x connection REB-GIS 110/10,5/10,5-kV EB transformers, 80 MVA 2 x connection REB-GIS 110/22-kV E-HWE transformers, 125 MVA 1 x connection point B: REB-GIS switchgear 26, SF26 – Stromnetz Berlin, 63 MVA 1 x connection point B: REB-GIS starting transformers Reuter West, 63 MVA d) 10-kV and low-voltage cable connections Installation planning, supply and installation of various 10-kV and further low-voltage power cable connections between the switchgear in the REB building, e.g. MSSA, NSHV, EB transformers, and the consumer switchgear in the adjacent buildings, e.g. RSHP, HZ1, HZ2 etc. e) Cable routes and cable ways Supply and installation of cable routes and cable ways including supports and fastenings in the defined cable shafts as well as on the RHS bridge. f) External lighting and power sockets g) Lightning protection, surge protection and potential equalisation h) Provisional fire protection i) Fire barriers and wall closures j) Cable seals and bushings All cable supply scopes are inclusive of the production of bilateral cable end terminations as well as the performance of final assembly inspections, including voltage tests according to DIN EN. The above-mentioned supplies and services are planned for Phase 2 of the REB project. The realisation of Phase 2 is scheduled for the year 2028 – 2030.
