Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Generalplanungsleistung für einen Neubau der ASMR-Bodenradaranlage am Flughafen Frankfurt

The DFS plans to construct a new ground-based radar system (ASMR) at Frankfurt Airport. The building complex consists of an antenna mast (reinforced concrete, H=approx. 65 m, incl. elevator and equipment room under the tower head) and a ground-level building with office and meeting spaces, as well as nearby outdoor facilities (access road, parking, etc.). The scope of the general planning includes services from Lph 1 to 8 according to HOAI 2021 for a new building on a plot at Frankfurt Airport (FRAPORT) with approx. 400 m² NF of office and meeting space. A garage and storage areas (approx. 50 m² NF) are to be integrated. Taking into account development technology and other ancillary areas, a total area (BGF) of approx. 750 m² is obtained. The new building is to be constructed and connected in the restricted access area - not the security area - of FRAPORT. All areas are to be air-conditioned as required. The essential media for heating, cooling and USV power supply are to be planned and provided in the building as required. Normal power and emergency power plant power supply is provided by FRAPORT. The connection to the building services is made in a corresponding handover room. The safety technology (§53 HOAI, System Group 5) and building automation (§53 HOAI, System Group 8) must be connected to the existing systems. The services of §53 HOAI, System Group 5 include structured IT planning and IT office infrastructure planning. This construction project is to be planned by means of a 3-D model coordinated within the framework of the general planning and made available to the AG via an .ifc interface. The general planning services include basic and special services of the service pictures of building planning (building, room-forming installations), open space planning, specialist planning (structural planning and technical equipment (AG 1 to 6 and 8) as well as services of building physics. All service pictures are to be processed in accordance with §§ 3, 34, 39, 51, 55 and Appendix 1 of HOAI 2021 and Heft 28 AHO. The coordination of the planning service includes, in addition to the general planning services, the coordination of the 3-D model and an increased presence of the site supervision.
