Belgium – Global navigation and positioning systems (GPS or equivalent) – GPS Trackers B-TC

The contract concerns the continuity and evolution of a GPS tracking system used by SNCB Technics for the near real-time tracking of approximately 1,750 'containers' equipped with GPS trackers in Europe. It includes, on the one hand, the takeover by the new provider of the existing trackers (Sigfox/NB-IoT subscriptions, integration into a new backend, takeover of data and metadata, management of existing BLE sensors for temperature/humidity and fill level, with alert mechanisms). On the other hand, the contract covers the supply of new GPS trackers and associated sensors, including subscriptions, visualisation via web platform and mobile applications, as well as the estimated annual acquisition of new equipment, with the possibility of integrating certain functionalities (temperature, humidity, fill-level) directly into the trackers.
