Belgium – Polluted soil treatment or rehabilitation – Réhabilitation du site « Ancienne Usine Chimique - Zone A » à le Roeulx - Mise en œuvre d’un confinement

The subject of the contract is the provision of services related to the rehabilitation of the site "Ancienne Usine Chimique (AUC) – Zone A" in Le Roeulx. Zone A, located between the Rue de Mons, Rue Saint-Jean and La Haine, exhibits extremely significant pollution, notably in organic compounds and free-phase pollutants, in both the soil and the groundwater. The rehabilitation will be carried out through the implementation of a containment system over the entire surface of Zone A, the capture of groundwater via the installation of a hydraulic barrier, and the geotechnical securing of the bank of La Haine along the site.
