Switzerland – Railway and tramway locomotives and rolling stock and associated parts – Acquisition de rames de métro automatique sur pneumatiques pour Lausanne (NMR)

Under the impetus of coordinated planning at the regional, cantonal and agglomeration levels, the m2-m3 Automatic Metro Development Programme (Programme m2-m3) has been launched to achieve two major strategic objectives: * Strengthen transport capacity between Lausanne station and the city centre, to meet the demand generated by the increase in rail services at Lausanne station; * Ensure the service and connection of the Plaines-du-Loup and Tuilière sectors with the city centre of Lausanne, as well as with the multimodal exchange hubs of Lausanne station and the Chauderon site. The programme concerns the development of the Lausanne automatic metro network and includes, in particular: * The extension and adaptation of civil engineering infrastructure; * The creation of a new m3 metro line; This is a contract for supplies and services, covering: * The acquisition of GoA4-controlled pneumatic tyred automatic metro trains, * The integration of automation and passenger information system (audio-visual communication), * Optionally, a technical assistance contract.
