Description
The planned construction project is located in the municipality of Biebrich, within the city limits of the Hessian state capital Wiesbaden. The nearest station, Wiesbaden-Ost, is located approximately 700 m to the south along line 3603. The junction structure is located between the Salzbach and the motorway A 671 on the electrified line 3505 in the direction of Wiesbaden Hbf–Wiesbaden Biebrich at km 44.020. The structure carries the electrified lines 3603 Frankfurt Hbf–Wiesbaden Hbf at km 38.4 and 3528 Mainz Kaiserbrücke Ost-Wiesbaden Hbf at km 6.9. The line affected by the renewal is line 3505 in the direction of travel. The renewal of the junction structure includes a single-track truss bridge. This will be founded as a single-span structure with a span of 100 m behind the existing listed abutments of the existing structure. The intersection angle is 19.1 gon. The abutments will be constructed in situ concrete with deep foundations. The steel truss construction will be designed according to Ril 804.9010, Chap. 2. The superstructure will be supported on the abutments with a total of 4 spherical bearings, longitudinally movable and transversely fixed. The transversely fixed bearing row is arranged on the inside of the track curve. Longitudinal forces and longitudinal deformations of the bridge will be distributed to both abutments via a control rod (Meyer-Wunstorf system). The track level will be raised by approximately 1.70 m in the middle of the new bridge, resulting in a new superstructure section of approximately 620 m. Adjacent to the new planned truss bridge to the southwest is a listed vaulted bridge. This must be secured due to the new earth loads (due to embankment raising). The vault will be permanently relieved by being overbuilt with a reinforced concrete slab. The slab structure over the vault will be constructed as a frame structure over a length of approximately 58.35 m from km 44.0+87 to km 44.1+45 (direction of travel line 3505), which is supported on 2 intersecting bored pile walls and transfers horizontal loads to inclined piles. Directly adjacent to the slab structure, the new track bed must be intercepted from km 44.145. From km 44.145 to km 44.183, a new track slab with deep foundation according to Ril 836 is planned. Since the ramp area is still located between km 44.183 and km 44.278 to the right of the direction of travel line 3505 and the track simultaneously shifts to the right by up to 1.15 m in some sections, a support structure will be necessary over a length of approximately 100 m at this point. A sheet pile wall with anchorage and a concrete headbeam is planned at this location. At the northern left embankment foot of the new direction of travel line 3505 adjacent to the truss bridge, prefabricated angle retaining walls will be necessary between approximately km 43.890 and km 43.920 and between km 43.943 and km 43.973 over a total length of 51 m to protect the main cable trench. The angle retaining walls are to be founded outside of railway traffic loads on a lean concrete layer and an underlying frost protection layer.
