Denmark – Construction work – Opførelse af bygværker til Kalundborg Central Renseanlæg F1.BA.01

Kalundborg Central Wastewater Treatment Plant (hereafter “KCR”) is to be expanded as a consequence of industry in Kalundborg Municipality increasing its discharge in the coming years. The expansion of KCR (hereafter “the Project”) will increase the biological capacity of the plant, improve overflow control, provide new sludge dewatering, and remove environmental pollutants through third and fourth treatment stages. The Project is to be realised through a series of tenders within the fields of construction and installation, machinery and electrical, system suppliers and SRO. Kalundborg Renseanlæg A/S (”Contracting Authority”) has entered into a total consulting agreement with Envidan A/S, which is responsible for technical consulting and assistance, design, site management and process specialist consulting in connection with the realisation of the Project. This tender includes a main contract, which essentially involves the execution of the following works: -Site preparation -New inlet pump station -New equalisation basin -New intermediate pump station -New post-denitrification tank -New chemical dosing building -Miscellaneous building works -Groundwater lowering, earthworks, pipe works etc. to carry out the construction of the new buildings. The machinery and electrical works related to the realisation of the process lines are tendered in a separate tender. In addition to the price of the fixed services related to the realisation of the contract, the tenderers must submit price(s) for the following options: Tender list item 2.10.1: Removal of temporary fencing and installations Tender list item 6.1.5: Installation of vibration meters Tender list item 6.1.6: Rental of vibration meters Tender list item 6.1.7: Dismantling of vibration meters Tender list item 6.1.8: Piles for stairs 12 meters in length 30x30 cm Furthermore, the tenderers must price variable services in the tender list, including adjustment prices, which will be used to the extent necessary. The Contracting Authority has considered whether the purchase can be divided further, but assesses that a further division will involve a number of impractical technical and legal interfaces with the associated risk of obstacles in the execution phase as well as derived transaction costs.
