Amgros I/S is a joint venture with the 5 regions as stakeholders. Amgros I/S carries out the tendering of framework agreements for the procurement of prefilled syringes on behalf of Region Midtjylland and Region Hovedstaden. Amgros is therefore the contract holder for the tendering process itself. The tender concerns the procurement of prefilled syringes, which are used for flushing intravenous access. The tender is divided into 2 separate sub-contracts, as detailed below and under the following section 5.1. Bidders can submit a bid for one or both sub-contracts. Allocation takes place separately for each sub-contract. A framework agreement is entered into with each of the participating regions, which gives the region the opportunity to make purchases under the framework agreement. The region is not obligated to purchase a certain quantity of products or to make purchases for a certain amount based on the framework agreement. The estimated quantity for each sub-contract is indicated under section 5.1.5. Throughout the duration of the framework agreement, the maximum number of products that can be procured under each sub-contract is as follows: Sub-contract 10. Sodium Chloride - Pure syringes - 3, 5 and 10 ml: 46,920,000 units. Sub-contract 11. Sodium Chloride - Sterile syringes - 5 and 10 ml: 992,280 units. Reference is made to the tender conditions section 1.3 for further information on the estimated and maximum quantities. The tender is covered by the IPI measure vis-à-vis China. Reference is made to the tender conditions sections 1.9 and 1.10. It is noted that the estimated and maximum values of the tender are indicated in quantities. The evaluation of the application of the IPI measure for the tender and for the individual sub-contracts has been carried out on the basis of the maximum quantities and an expected market price for the tendered products.
