Denmark – Measles-mumps-rubella vaccines – Rammekontrakt om levering af MFR-vaccine 2026 – 2030

The framework agreement concerns the supply of MFR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella vaccine) for the period 2026 – 2030. It is a requirement that the offered vaccine, at the time of tender submission, has a marketing authorisation valid for Denmark, pursuant to the Medicines Act, Section 7, Paragraph 1. Further requirements for the vaccine are set out in the tender documents. The estimated need for procurement of MFR vaccines is approximately 130,000 – 150,000 doses annually, i.e. a total estimated quantity of approximately 520,000 – 600,000 doses for the duration of the framework agreement. The purpose of the framework agreement is to ensure that SSI can carry out the necessary procurement of the included vaccines for the public vaccination programme in accordance with the expected need for such vaccines during the framework agreement's duration of up to 48 months. The procurement under the agreement depends on the decisions made for the public vaccination programme and on vaccination uptake. Therefore, a significant variation in the annually estimated consumption can be expected. In this regard, and since the total need for vaccines may vary considerably, depending on which decisions are made for the public programme, SSI may, in total, purchase up to 750,000 doses (the maximum quantity) in accordance with the framework agreement during its duration, see further Appendix 2.
