Germany – Architectural services for outdoor areas – Freiraumplanerischer Realisierungswettbewerb mit Ideenteil Lückenschluss im Anlagenring, Offenbach am Main

The competition is being announced as a non-open, free-space planning implementation competition with an ideas section under §§ 69 ff., 78 ff. VgV in conjunction with RPW 2013 with a preceding application/selection procedure and subsequent negotiation procedure without a competition of participants with the prize winners. No participants are designated to participate. Up to 20 participants will be selected to participate based on the announced selection criteria. The Chamber of Architects and Urban Planners of Hesse was involved in the preparation of the announcement. The competition is registered there under the number 10/2026 RPW 2013 dated 11.08.2026. All prize winners will be invited to participate in the subsequent negotiations, provided they meet the suitability requirements announced in this competition notice and there are no grounds for exclusion. The issuer intends to commission one of the prize winners, taking into account the recommendations of the jury and the subsequent negotiation procedure according to VgV with further services. These are the further planning services necessary for the implementation of the competition design of the performance phases 2 to 9 of the object planning open spaces according to §§ 38 ff. HOAI, in particular § 39 HOAI, provided that the construction project is realised and there is no important reason against an order. The nature and scope of the order should ensure that the quality of the competition design is implemented.
