Germany – Roof insulation work – Müssenredder 59 - Dachabdichtung und Begrünung

SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as an agency of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), is tasked with planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties in accordance with educational needs and economic principles, and leasing more than 400 schools to the Authority for School and Vocational Training (BSB). --------------- On the site of the Carl-von-Ossietzky-Gymnasium, an existing administrative building will be demolished to make way for the subsequent extension and replacement building. The measure will be carried out in parallel with school operations. --------------- Here: Roof waterproofing and greening --------------- Roof waterproofing works for the new building on the site of the Carl-von-Ossietzky-Gymnasium; Müssenredder 59, 22399 Hamburg-Poppenbüttel. The services include base waterproofing (approx. 2,000m2), insulation and waterproofing works of the four main roof surfaces of different heights (1,940m2) as a flat roof construction, drainage and roofing works (eaves drainage via spouts and downpipes; eaves covering), roof windows and roof exits, fall protection as a traversable cable system and extensive roof greening. The new building has three roof levels of different heights. These range from the ground floor to the third floor. The highest roof level is approx. 16.50m high. The floor area of the building is approx. 2,000m². The supporting structure consists essentially of ceiling slabs supported on facade supports and columns. Individual transverse walls and the staircases strip the construction. The facade consists of a front-hung timber frame construction.
