Denmark – Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Hovedentreprise vedr. Nyt Botilbud Sødisbakke - 16 skærmede boliger

Region Nordjylland is procuring - as main contractor - the construction of New Botilbud Sødisbakke – 16 screened dwellings at Havndalvej 9B, 9550 Mariager. The project involves the new construction of 16 screened dwellings for adult citizens with developmental disabilities and a need for special screening. The target group includes citizens who often also have autism spectrum disorders, other developmental disorders, psychiatric diagnoses, criminal records or problem behaviour. Additionally, a communal dwelling, service areas and screened outdoor living and circulation areas will be constructed. The buildings will be constructed as a main building with two blocks, each with 8 dwellings, and will be arranged according to a backstage principle, where resident areas and staff functions are separated. The project therefore has special requirements for functionality, safety, robustness and logistics. The construction will be carried out with load-bearing timber structures and the facades will have timber cladding. The project also includes the establishment of outdoor areas with, among other things, access and parking, a service road for operation and emergency services, an experience path, planting and earth berms for screening. The project is designed with a focus on safety, peace, clarity and well-being for a vulnerable target group and therefore contains elements that can be referred to as healing architecture. The main contractor is responsible for the overall execution, including, among other things, coordination of trades, interfaces, schedule and delivery.
