Germany – Construction work for swimming pool – Sanierung, Attraktivierung und Betrieb der Ahr-Therme Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler

The City of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler intends to structurally restore the Ahr-Therme, which was severely damaged by the flood disaster in July 2021, to functionally and substantially further develop it, and subsequently to have it operated on a long-term basis by a private operator. The aim of the project is to:

- technically, functionally and aesthetically future-proof the spa,

- enable a permanently economically viable operation without ongoing operating subsidies, and

- to win a commercially acting partner who understands planning, construction, investment and operation as an integrated overall project.

The tendering procedure is therefore expressly not only aimed at construction companies, but at companies that have experience in the planning, construction and economic operation of spas or comparable facilities.
