Germany – Education and training services – Pädagogische Fördermaßnahmen im Bereich der Beruflichen Schulen

The present description applies exclusively to the area of public vocational schools in the Saarland. To support young people and young adults, especially in the transition from school to work and in initial vocational training, it has been decided to support educational measures. In implementation of this, the Ministry for Education and Culture intends to provide integrative and additive support offers for students in the school types of vocational preparation, vocational school, and technical secondary school, as well as the vocational upper secondary school at the vocational schools in Saarland. The individual schools decide individually whether and in what form to make use of this offer; there is no obligation to call it up. For this, the schools must adhere to the budget allocated to them by the Ministry for Education and Culture. Therefore, the Ministry for Education and Culture cannot guarantee the call-up in principle or in terms of the amount to the framework partner. Payment will only be made for teaching units actually called up from the offered contingent by the schools.
