Description

The Hamburger Energiewerke GmbH (HEnW) is a 100% municipal energy supplier. To achieve the climate goals of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the share of coal-based district heating is to be reduced from the current approximately 64% to zero by 2030. To this end, the "Tiefstack Transformation (TiTra)" program has been initiated. At the Heizkraftwerk (HKW) Tiefstack site, two hard-coal-fired steam generators currently produce electricity and district heating in CHP operation. To decarbonise this site, the fuel hard coal is to be substituted by natural gas (H-Gas). As part of this conversion, the flue gas path and the flue gas cleaning systems will be fundamentally rebuilt. The existing coal-based induced-draft fans will be dismantled (Lot 1). For the new gas operation, performance-adapted induced-draft fans with silencers are required, which are adapted to the changed flue gas conditions and the newly constructed flue gas heat exchanger (Lot 4).
