Germany – Geotechnical engineering services – Straßenbahn-Neubaustrecke „Neues Uniklinikum Würzburg“ - Geotechnische Baubegleitung

The Würzburger Straßenbahn GmbH (WSB) operates, in its own name, on its own account and at its own risk, based on a public service contract according to Article 3(1) Regulation 1370/2007 between the City of Würzburg and the WSB, the public local transport with trams and buses within the local area of responsibility of the City of Würzburg. In this overall context, the WSB is required to implement the following line extension (overall measure) structurally: The existing metre-gauge tramway network in Würzburg will be expanded by the WSB with the planned construction measure tramway new line "New University Hospital Würzburg". By this, the northern area and the planned expansion of the University Hospital Würzburg (Main Hospital, Women's Hospital, Centre for Operative Disciplines ZOM, Centre for Internal Medicine ZIM) (UKW) will be served by the tram and connected to the city centre of Würzburg. For the implementation of the overall measure tramway new line "New University Hospital Würzburg", various services for the geotechnical construction supervision are to be provided. These include, among others: - Sampling; - Investigations; and - Installation/Compaction Control.
