Finland – Construction work – Nurmijärventien alikulkusillan peruskorjaus, rakennusurakka

The contract is a comprehensive overall contract (KU). The contract includes the major repair of the old Nurmijärventie underpass (U-2979) and related railway works. The total length of the bridge is 322.5 metres and the clear width is 9.8 metres. The bridge has two tracks, which will be closed to rail traffic for approximately ten (10) weeks during the repair period from 1.6.2026 to 9.8.2026. The site is located on section 1104 between Ilmala and Huopalahti. The repair works will be carried out on, among others, the following structures:

- substructures

- intermediate supports

- bearings

- edge beams

- superstructures

- surface structures and track superstructures

- parapets

- expansion joints

- fittings and equipment

The contract execution includes the entirety as defined in the contract documents, including all track and road arrangements, fittings and equipment. A more detailed description is provided in the tender documents.
