Germany – Switchgear – Teilerneuerung von drei DC-Schaltanlagen

The substations Mainzer Straße (UW 11), Rathaus (UW 12) and Hauptbahnhof (UW 13) are part of the 750-V-DC railway power supply of Saarbahn Netz GmbH. Due to the obsolescence of essential electrical components and the limited availability of spare parts, modernization and partial renewal measures are necessary for the DC switchgear, control and remote control technology, as well as ancillary operations. The aim of the measure is to ensure the long-term operational and supply reliability of the systems. The services include, in particular, the renewal of selected switchgear components, control and signalling equipment, as well as adaptations to the power supply systems.
