This programme of 6 secure lorry parks is being implemented in response to a 2019 report by the European Commission, which identified a significant shortage of secure parking for lorries at the European level. The parking facilities planned on the Cofiroute network as part of this programme, with a total capacity of 376 spaces, are located at: - A10 - Marnières rest area, direction 2, PR 44, - A10 – Plaines-de-Beauce service area, direction 1, PR 57, - A10 – Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine interchange, directions 1 and 2, PR 241, - A11 – Chaudonnes rest area, direction 2, PR 36, - A11 – Ver-lès-Chartres-les-Souchets rest area, direction 1, PR 66, - A71 – Lamotte-Beuvron interchange, directions 1 and 2, PR 138. They will include the following features: - A lorry parking area equipped with lighting, CCTV, and access and toll control systems of the barrier type; - Traffic lanes and pedestrian walkways; - Remote monitoring, control, and management equipment; - Services for lorry drivers (including toilet and shower blocks, canopy, WiFi). The contract involves carrying out the main design work, regulatory procedures to obtain administrative authorisations, and assistance to the project owner, in the design and implementation phases.
