Finland – Bread products, fresh pastry goods and cakes – Tuoreleivät

Kaarina City's Procurement and Catering Services requests tenders for fresh bread for the period 1.1.2027-31.12.2028, after which the contract may be extended at the purchaser's discretion for two (2) one (1) year options (1.1.2029-31.12.2029 and 1.1.2030-31.12.2030) under the original terms. Decisions on the implementation of the option periods will be made separately. The objective of the procurement is to conclude a contract for the supply of fresh bread to meet the needs of Kaarina City. The delivery locations are listed in Appendix 3. Deliveries must take place between 06:30 and 14:00. The products must be suitable for professional use and comply with all laws, regulations, standards and other official requirements in force in Finland. Product descriptions must be available for all products. The fresh bread must be baked within 20 hours of the delivery time. The transport equipment must comply with the applicable food legislation. The consumption values mentioned in the appendix are based on previous deliveries and do not bind the purchaser. It is hoped that deliveries will use recyclable or reusable packaging and other materials in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The offered prices must include the costs of the return system for delivery boxes and other items, as well as the costs incurred. The supplier must instruct the purchasers on the use of the return system. Handling and storage must not cause the purchaser any additional work or costs compared to current practice. The supplier is responsible for the aforementioned materials, and their storage is not possible except for temporary storage. Kaarina City reserves the right to purchase small quantities of supplementary products from local suppliers mainly due to the needs of theme days, organic days and similar events.
