Description

Subject of the contract: „Delivery of equipment and consumables for the „Molecular Biology“ laboratory in 13 separate lots“ includes the following separate lots: Lot No. 1: „Delivery of a genetic analysis system by PCR and Real Time PCR with accessories and consumables for commissioning“ Lot No. 2: „Delivery of consumables for PCR and Real-time PCR for current laboratory work“ Lot No. 3: „Delivery of laminar flow cabinets (microbiological class II A2 and for PCR) and laboratory oven“ Lot No. 4: „Delivery of microcentrifuges (with and without cooling) and minicentrifuge“ Lot No. 5: „Delivery of UV Transilluminator and photo documentation system“ Lot No. 6: „Delivery of manual electronic dispenser“ Lot No. 7: „Delivery of equipment for low-temperature storage of samples and reagents“ Lot No. 8: „Delivery of general laboratory equipment“ Lot No. 9: „Delivery of Autoclave“ Lot No. 10: „Delivery of Plant Sample Homogenizer“ Lot No. 11: „Delivery of laboratory consumables“ Lot No. 12: „Delivery of culture media and components“ Lot No. 13: „Delivery of primers“ The subject of this public procurement is the delivery of specialized laboratory equipment and consumables for molecular-biological analysis, which will allow, at a high scientific level, to define the influence of variable factors, conditioned by climate change, on the genetic response of vines, including the expression of genes related to resistance to biotic and abiotic stress, as well as the early detection of pathogens (viruses, bacteria, phytoplasmas and fungi) in vines. The specialized equipment, which is the subject of this public procurement, is in integration with previously declared components of the project, in order to achieve an integrated complex approach, directly related to adaptation to climate change. The aim is to supplement field and physicochemical data with molecular-genetic analysis, providing precise, reproducible and scientifically validated results, which will outline the relationship of climate change with the genetic mechanisms of adaptation of vines, generating the subsequent application of sustainable practices for „combating“ the climate footprint and establishing economic viability. The activity is funded as part of the project „Adaptation of viticulture to climate change through the application of ecosystem measures to maintain economic viability (VitiClimRoBg–Hard ROBG00370)“, under the Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme, specific objective: 2.4 — Promoting adaptation to climate change, preventing disaster risk and resilience, taking into account ecosystem approaches. Within the scope of this public procurement, activities for the delivery and, where applicable, assembly, installation, testing, commissioning, operator training and warranty servicing of equipment and consumables for molecular-biological analysis in 13 separate lots, for the needs of the Institute of Viticulture and Enology – Pleven, are envisaged. The activities for the execution of the contract shall be carried out in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and environmental compatibility, provided for in Regulation (EU) 2021/1059 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 June 2021 on specific provisions for the Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme, as well as with the requirements for the application of ecosystem approaches, indicated in specific objective 2.4 of the programme: „Promoting adaptation to climate change, preventing disaster risk and resilience, taking into account ecosystem approaches“. In connection with the financing under the Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme, the activities in the execution of the contract shall also be carried out in accordance with the principles of „do no significant harm“ (DNSH) to the environment, as defined in Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2020/852 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 June 2020 on establishing a framework to facilitate sustainable investment.
