The Mitte district plans to undertake a comprehensive renovation of Building 2 (day care centre) at the Gesundbrunnen-Grundschule site, located at Prinzenallee 9, 13357 Berlin. This will involve the reconstruction and expansion of the sanitary facilities, the refurbishment of the building services, the creation of barrier-free access (including the installation of a lift), the development and implementation of fire safety, active shooter and acoustic concepts, and an energy-efficient window renovation including sun protection. Additionally, minor interior renovations and asbestos removal are required. During the construction work, the canteen, toilets and GE classes (classes with a focus on Intellectual Development) will be relocated to containers on the school grounds. Furthermore, the roof should be equipped with photovoltaic elements if possible. Services for building design, phases 1 to 9 according to § 34 HOAI are to be provided.
