The city of Kassel intends to renew the mechanical engineering of the biology of its wastewater treatment plant. This lot will advertise the planning services required for this purpose. In addition to mechanical engineering, the EMSR technology is also to be renewed and adapted/migrated to the SPS technology currently used at the wastewater treatment plant. As part of this, the entire aeration system and the agitators are to be modernized. The migration of the SPS technology is to be carried out during ongoing plant operation. Furthermore, as part of the preliminary planning, the conversion to a 2-stage cascade denitrification as a variant is to be examined in comparison with the retention of the upstream denitrification.
