Description

Water is vital. We need it as drinking water, for agriculture, livestock farming and industry. In the Netherlands, there is usually enough water, but it is often unevenly distributed and polluted. That is why water management is needed. Where there is too much water, the water boards discharge it. Where there is too little water, they supply it. They regulate the discharge of polluted water with permits. They purify sewage and maintain water defences. Waterschap Vechtstromen is responsible for clean, safe and sufficient water in South-East Drenthe, the Vechtdal and Twente. As a water manager, we stand for a sustainable living environment that caters to the need for housing, working, living and recreation. Our organisation has approximately 600 employees. We work throughout our management area. Our head office is located in Almelo and the regional offices are in Hardenberg, Sleen, Nieuw-Amsterdam and Hengelo. In addition, there are locations where the purification process takes place: the 23 sewage treatment plants. See also the area map on our website. Within the water board, safety is a very important pillar. Vechtstromers work safely. Or they do not work! We also expect this from the parties we work with. The head office in Almelo underwent a modernisation of the layout between 2020-2033, during which the office was redivided and aesthetic adjustments were made. However, the mechanical engineering installations - and in particular the air conditioning system (HVAC) - were not included in this. The current installations are at the end of their lifespan and sustainability and improvement of comfort are important. The aim of this tender is to conclude an agreement with two parties (one party for installation technical work and one party for the construction work) that are able to provide or carry out the requested installation technical and construction work during the project. The aim of this selection guide is to select a maximum of five candidates/registrants per lot. The contracting authority then asks these candidates/registrants to submit a registration in accordance with the registration guide during the granting phase. The contract is divided into two lots: Lot 1: Installation technical work; Lot 2: Construction work. The contract for both lots can be awarded to one registrant.
