Germany – Architectural services for outdoor areas – Neubau Feuerwehrhaus Affalterbach

The subject of the tender is planning services in accordance with §39 HOAI LP1-9 for the new construction of a modern fire station to ensure fire protection and technical assistance in the municipality of Affalterbach. The fire department currently has 52 members in the operational division, 12 in the veterans' division, and 16 in the youth fire department. The building should meet the current technical, functional, and legal requirements for fire stations and enable future-proof operation. In addition to short response times, safe work processes, up-to-date hygiene standards, and flexible use for training and organization should be ensured. For the new construction, a large plot of land has been acquired next to the current fire station. This provides the opportunity to maintain the operation of the current fire station during the new construction, so that the new construction will not affect the current operation. The total area of the current plot of land and the newly purchased plot of land is 5,300 m². The new fire station is to be equipped with 5 parking spaces. However, there should be the possibility of expanding the number of parking spaces by one or two at a later date. The fire station should, among other things, include the following rooms: - Changing rooms (separated by men and women) - Conference rooms - Administrative rooms/Social rooms/Training rooms - Command office - Control centre - Kitchen - Toilets (separated by men and women) - Showers (separated by men and women) - Workshop/Storage room - Cleaning/Drying room - Youth fire department room - All other rooms prescribed by law and necessary for the functionality of the fire department. Appropriate parking facilities for the members of the fire department should also be provided. The costs of the construction project are expected to be 5.5 million €. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027.
