Belgium – Motor vehicles for the transport of 10 or more persons – Levering en onderhoud van een vervoersysteem met autonome voertuigen

This contract concerns a framework agreement for setting up a purchasing centre, and includes all necessary deliveries and services to supply and put into operation an autonomous transport system, consisting of, among other things, multiple autonomous vehicles for the transport of persons, at various locations in Flanders for De Lijn and at other locations (in the EU) for the other purchasers of the purchasing centre. The contractor will be asked, within the framework of this framework contract, to offer various types of autonomous vehicles for different pilot projects with different requirements regarding capacity per vehicle. The autonomous vehicles will have to drive on public roads in complex traffic environments in full interaction with other road users. Also, supporting non-vehicle-related parts of this transport system are part of this contract, such as, but not limited to: a supervision centre and the maintenance of, among other things, the autonomous control system of the vehicles and the associated supervision centre.
