Germany – Reconditioning services of rolling stock – Mobile Instandhaltung von Schienenfahrzeugen des Typs IC 2

The subject of the contract is a framework agreement for the mobile maintenance of rail vehicles of type IC 2, consisting of the locomotive (Class E147.5) and 5 passenger coaches in a fixed train set (BA R687.4, BA R682.4, BA R668.4) of DB Fernverkehr AG. The vehicles are to be repaired by mobile maintenance outside of the DB FV AG's workshops to improve vehicle availability and quality. The services are to be provided by mobile teams at sidings in the following cities or at sidings within a 50 km radius of the following cities: Norddeich, Emden, Rostock, Karlsruhe, Rottweil, Nuremberg, Singen, Radolfzell, Schaffhausen, Konstanz, Basel, Stuttgart and Frankfurt am Main. If work is carried out on Swiss territory, reports to the authorities as well as the associated A1 certificates (SV proof) must be available for each employee before employment begins. The specific locations will be specified in each call-off. The aim is to maintain the vehicles when they are in operation for longer periods without workshop admission (longer runs). The services to be procured shall be provided in the period from January 2027 to December 2028 (with the option of an extension until December 2029).
