This contract concerns: Renewal of tracks and track equipment: • Breaking up and laying of tracks; • Excavation and relaying of the bedding; • Breaking up and laying of track equipment; • Execution of aluminothermic welding works; • Provision of hydraulic track cranes and crane operators; • Provision of qualified railway workers; • Regulation of tensions; • Laying of footpaths; • Clean-up of the site. Renewal of overhead lines and overhead line structures: • Breaking up and laying of overhead lines and other cables in the course of the works; • Installation of overhead line structures and their equipment; • Demolition of overhead line structures in the work zone; • Shifting of overhead lines; • Demolition of overhead lines and unrolling of new overhead lines. Renewal of signalling equipment and signalling technical installations • Laying of energy, telephone, signalling, earthing, control and signalling cables; • Introduction of the cables into the various chain, distribution and signal boxes; • Installation, equipping, wiring and connection of signal and distribution boxes; • Connection of the cables to the frames in the signal and power chain, the signal boxes and to the signal equipment on the track; • Installation, equipping and connection of track signals; • Installation and connection of various safety devices related to the signalling equipment; • Installation of sleeves and cable ducts where deemed necessary to achieve an orderly condition; • Removal of old cables; • Removal of old signalling installations; • Clearing and returning the site to an orderly state.
