Spain – Air quality management – Implantación, acreditación y posterior mantenimiento de un sistema de garantía de calidad conforme a la norma UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 de la Red de Calidad del Aire del Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza

The subject of the contract to which these documents refer is the SERVICE OF IMPLEMENTATION, ACCREDITATION AND SUBSEQUENT MAINTENANCE OF A QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 STANDARD OF THE AIR QUALITY NETWORK OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ZARAGOZA in accordance with the description contained in the Technical Prescriptions Document. ------------------------------------ Royal Decree 102/2011, of 28 January, relating to the improvement of air quality, establishes that the competent authorities must carry out the functions of evaluation and management of ambient air quality, guaranteeing the traceability of all measurements made in relation to the evaluation of ambient air quality, in accordance with the requirements established in the applicable harmonised standard for testing and calibration laboratories. There must also be a quality assurance and control system that includes periodic maintenance aimed at ensuring the constant accuracy of the measuring instruments. --------------------------------- Similarly, the recent EU Directive 2024/2881 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2024 on ambient air quality and a cleaner atmosphere in Europe, indicates in the same vein in its Annex V (Data Quality Objectives) that in order to ensure the accuracy of measurements and compliance with data quality objectives, the competent authorities and bodies must guarantee the traceability of all measurements made in relation to the evaluation of ambient air quality. ---------------------------- ALL THE DOCUMENTS GOVERNING THIS CONTRACT: Specific Particular Administrative Clauses Document -hereinafter PCAPE-, Type Particular Administrative Clauses Document -hereinafter PCAPT- and Technical Prescriptions Document -hereinafter PPT- ARE PUBLISHED IN THE DOCUMENT PLIEGOS OF THIS PLATFORM.
