Switzerland – IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support – Gemeinde Oetwil am See, Beschaffung ICT-Betrieb und Infrastruktur

The municipality of Oetwil am See intends to outsource its entire ICT to a new service provider as the contract with the current partner expires at the end of 2028. The new solution is to be operational for all seven locations as of 1 January 2029: Town Hall, Old Town Hall, Workshop/Water Supply, School Administration, Swimming Pool, Fire Department and Library. The core of the project is the migration of the existing cloud environment to that of the future provider. The provider operates Microsoft 365 with Teams telephony and SharePoint, the GEVER solution GEVER365, as well as around 25 specialist applications. The project also includes a network core renewal in a rental model with uniform WLAN and guest WLAN at all locations. Furthermore, the provider procures 65 workplace infrastructures with laptop, docking station, two monitors and peripherals, and delivers them fully configured. The one-off project services include project management, data migration, test phase, rollback concept, documentation and training. Afterward, the provider ensures ongoing operation as a managed service, including client management, support from 2nd level, backup and encrypted communication with the public. The municipal specialist solution Innosolv, the licenses of the specialist applications and the printer fleet are not part of the procurement.
