No deadline given

Description

The current wastewater treatment plant (wwtp) De Groote Lucht of Delfland has reached the end of its lifespan. The decision to realise a new water purification on the site of Vergulde Hand West, opposite the current wwtp, was made at the United Assembly of 29 September 2022. The scope of the contract includes the integral design and realisation of a completely new water purification, consisting of the water line (pretreatment, main treatment and post-treatment), the sludge line (sludge treatment, dewatering and digestion), the gas line (upgrading of biogas to green gas), housing and other components such as site layout. The disciplines related to these main components concern civil/structural, mechanical and electrical/process automation. The chosen purification technique is Modified University of Cape Town (mUCT) with membrane bioreactors for sludge separation. The new water purification is designed for a biological capacity of 450,000 pollution units, with a hydraulic capacity of 16,500 m³/h and a design lifespan of 30 years.
