The objective of the project is to ensure a future-proof, high-performance, and compliant supply of sterile goods for the operating theatre of the BG Klinikum Bergmannstrost Halle. Therefore, a new location for the AEMP (Central Sterilization Department) must be provided. In this context, alternative locations for the relocation of the AEMP are to be examined and evaluated as part of the preliminary planning. An economic comparison of the variants examined is required. Based on this, a functional and structural concept of the new AEMP is to be developed, taking into account hygienic requirements, efficient process flows, the necessary technical infrastructure, and medical equipment. Furthermore, the logistical integration, in particular the transport routes to the central operating theatre, as well as to storage areas and lifts, is to be analyzed. During the planning and implementation of the measures, it must be ensured that the ongoing operating theatre operations are not impaired at any time and the functionality of the affected areas is guaranteed at all times. If necessary, suitable interim solutions or a transition phase are to be developed and integrated into the planning and construction process. As part of the relocation of the AEMP, areas will become available due to the dismantling of the existing facilities. The dismantling of the current AEMP is an integral part of the commissioned planning services. The areas are to be examined and conceptually planned with regard to possible subsequent uses. Both operational requirements of the hospital and spatial, technical, and economic framework conditions are to be taken into account. As part of the preliminary planning, variants are to be examined that form the basis for further planning. The aim is an integrated planning that ensures both the optimization of the AEMP and a meaningful and sustainable use of the areas that become available.
