The City of Hämeenlinna (hereinafter also the contracting entity / purchaser) invites tenders for a new library van chassis in accordance with the tender documents. The bodywork for the new library van is intended to be tendered separately in a separate tender after the supplier of the library van chassis has been selected. In other words, the procurement is divided into two parts, but each part is tendered with its own tender. The duration of the procurement contract is an estimate based on an initial estimate that the library van chassis would be ordered in 2026 and the delivery time for the chassis would be approximately four months. The actual delivery time is stated elsewhere in the tender documents. The procurement contract is both an order and an order confirmation. If necessary, there may be a separate written order and/or a separate written order confirmation in addition to the procurement contract, which are subordinate to the procurement contract. Information on a possible maintenance and repair contract is provided elsewhere in the tender documents. If the process of the selected tenderer requires other documents, these will be negotiated separately. The purchaser reserves the right to negotiate the details of the library van chassis with the selected tenderer. In this case, it may also be necessary to negotiate the total price of the chassis, but in such a way that it can change by a maximum of ten percent up or down. If the purchaser does not exercise its right, the library van chassis must be exactly as required.
