The project involves the renovation of a 2-storey upper secondary school building, Hakkarin School, in Lempäälä. The project will be implemented in phases and the school will be in use during the renovations. The school will undergo extensive facade renovation, including the renewal of facade brickwork and insulation, as well as the improvement of the U-value of the external walls. Additionally, drainage systems and external pipe protection will be renewed. Sealing repairs will be carried out on non-load-bearing structures and passages. Internally, ceilings and floor surfaces will be extensively renewed, except for the original tiled floors in the entrance halls. Ventilation terminal units, lighting, and wet areas will be renewed. Water supply pipes and internal rainwater drains will be renewed. Emergency exits will be added to classrooms. External water drainage will be improved. The main electrical switchboard and distribution boards will be renewed. The main objective of the project is to achieve safe, healthy spaces and good indoor air quality for users. In the 1st phase of the competitive dialogue (registration phase), three (3) applicants who have submitted a participation application and meet the minimum requirements will be selected for the collaborative project management consultancy negotiation and team evaluation phase.
