Aachen University Hospital intends to procure an innovative patient multimedia and infotainment solution at its main site at Pauwelsstr. 30 and at the "Morillenhang" site (formerly Franziskus) at Morillenhang 27. The target scenario is to provide all patients with a bedside terminal on wall arms for use during their hospital stay, differentiating between the equipment variants for statutory health insurance (GKV) and private health insurance (PKV) areas. In addition to a standard offering of entertainment media during the stay, the future solution platform is expected to provide further services, including specific clinical and organisational information and communication services.
