The Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH (FKB) has a sewerage network with a qualified separation system (sewage, rainwater, and mixed water) of approximately 260 km. The catchment area of the rainwater system is divided into 36 inspection areas, which are assigned to the Self-Monitoring Regulation for Wastewater Facilities (SüwVO Abw NRW 2013) and 9 inspection areas, which are assigned to the Regulation on Facilities for Handling Water-Hazardous Substances (AwSV) to meet the water law requirements. To comply with the water law requirements, the AG plans to continue the needs assessment Part 3 and the subsequent project planning as well as the subsequent rehabilitation of various drainage elements of the FKB sewerage network in the coming years.
