Germany – Health services – Bereitstellung einer E-Health-Plattform für das PEDNET-LC - Arbeitspaket 6.1 – Telemedizinische Vernetzung

The subject of the procurement procedure is the provision, implementation, operation and further development of a cloud-based telemedicine platform for the PEDNET-LC project. The platform is to serve as a secure, standardized and clinically proven overall solution for the telemedical networking of the facilities involved in PEDNET-LC and, in particular, to enable the structured collection, joint use and forwarding of patient-related data as well as communication between service providers and with patients. PEDNET-LC is a newly established, interdisciplinary paediatric network for the care and research of children and adolescents with Long COVID-like illnesses. Particularly, post-infectious diseases after SARS-CoV-2, influenza virus, Epstein-Barr virus and other pathogens are covered. In the future, those affected with symptoms after vaccinations as well as children and adolescents with ME/CFS, regardless of the respective trigger, are to be cared for via the structures to be established. The project is designed as a nationwide association of clinics and research institutes. The aim is to network specialized, interdisciplinary care centers, to support nationwide regional care and to continuously improve diagnostics and treatment approaches for affected children and adolescents. The data generated within the framework of care are to be collected, evaluated and used for the further development of medical care. The findings obtained are to be made accessible to the public. The focus of the relevant work package is the telemedical networking of the facilities involved. This is to enable quick, data protection and professional law compliant communication of the service providers involved in patient care with each other as well as the exchange of patient-related data and communication with patients.
