Ireland – Lead batteries – The provision of Duplicated Batteries for Lighthouses and Batteries for Buoys
Description
Irish Lights are tendering to establish a framework for the supply of both solar and standard duplicated batteries for various lighthouses and buoys for the period 2026-2030. Irish Lights is currently using a sample specification as part of the advertisement and evaluation of tenders and requests that the price submitted is scalable to Irish Lights finalised requirements. The requirements and the subsequent contract awards are separated into two lots: Lot 1 – Lighthouse (station) Batteries • Non-flooded Lead-Acid. • Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄ / LFP). • NiMH (Nickel–Metal Hydride) Lot 2 – Buoy Batteries - Maintenance-free motive power gel battery for Navigational Buoys
