Germany – Repair and maintenance services of boilers – SV-EME-260812-002 - Teilsanierung Kessel 91

Due to the current and expected future district heating (FW) supply situation, it has been strategically decided that the existing boiler at the Heizwerk Koppstraße site, Rupert-Mayer-Strasse 43, 81379 Munich, should be upgraded for at least 15 years of continued operation, and that the affected boiler tubes should be renovated as soon as possible in 2027. This is to reduce the otherwise significant risk of plant failure and to ensure the availability of the boiler plant for safe generation for district heating. During the planned boiler shutdown in June 2026, the exact scope of the required partial renovation of the boiler could be checked in detail and described in a bill of quantities. Due to the current delivery times for the material and the prefabrication of the required tube bundles, the lead time is currently estimated at 5-6 months. With this order, a partial renovation of the boiler plant in the period from May to July 2027 is still possible, and thus the boiler 91 in HW Koppstrasse can be secured for district heating supply from the 2027/2028 heating period. The following services are to be awarded by SWM Services GmbH, Decentralised Generation, SW-DE (AG) i.w.:

- Creation of access and assembly openings on the boiler membrane walls

- Replacement of the boiler bottom membrane wall / finned tube

- Replacement of the middle wall

- Replacement of the rear wall

- Replacement of the rear wall (inclined pull)

- Installation of two additional manholes / access openings in the combustion chamber

- Documentation of the partial renovation and QS evidence for the supply and service scope
