Currently, there is no uniform leadership culture in the UKS; instead, various subcultures and leadership styles have historically emerged in clinics, institutes, departments, etc. At the first management conference in November 2024, the need for a uniform UKS-wide leadership culture was identified as one of the top priorities for the coming years and prioritised accordingly (in human resources development). Since there is no dedicated management development department within the UKS, it was decided to seek support from an external service provider. The Leadership Culture Working Group has developed leadership principles for the UKS, which have been finally decided by the UKS Executive Board.
