Finland – Construction work – Imatran paloaseman LVJ-urakka, sivu-urakka (PU)

The South Karelia Wellbeing Services County requests tenders for the Imatra Fire Station LVJ contract (subcontract), which includes pipework, cooling and compressed air works. The construction site is the fire / rescue station being built for the South Karelia Wellbeing Services County in the Korvenkanta district of the city of Imatra. In addition, premises for the use of the Southeast Finland Police Department, storage and garage buildings and a movable, container-type standby power plant will be built on the property. The site will also be used by the South Karelia Wellbeing Services County's emergency medical services and Tainionkoski VPK. The address of the site is Piikatu 4, 55120 Imatra, where a derogation permit has been granted for the construction area. It is particularly noted that the construction area is located in an important groundwater area. The contract type is a divided contract, in which all construction, LVIAJ, electrical and earthworks are carried out in accordance with the plans. The main contractor of the project acts as the main contractor and principal designer of the site and appoints a corresponding site manager. Subcontracts are assigned to the main contractor under a subcontract assignment agreement. The subcontracts are the LVJ contract (pipe and cooling contract), IV contract, electrical contract and building automation contract. Subcontract agreements are concluded in the name of the purchaser. The purchasing unit has reserved a total of 8,200,000 euros for the entire procurement, which includes the main contract as well as all assigned subcontracts and the Purchaser's procurements. Extensive TLIV classified material will have to be handled on the site, so the main contractor must ensure that the site has facilities where classified material can be handled. All contractors' own office premises must also meet the same requirements. Further information on these premises is provided in Appendix 5 of the Security Agreement – "Information Processing Environment Requirements". The site plans are classified with regard to the police premises. The technical documents show the number of premises and the itemised lists of construction and building services products. If desired, the tenderer may visit the completed plans for the police premises on week 8.7.2026 between 8-16. Location: Lappeenranta Government Office, Villimiehenkatu 2b, from where tenderers will be directed to the actual tendering area. All participants in the familiarisation events for the plans are required to sign a confidentiality agreement before the start of the event.
