GASCADE Gastransport GmbH, as a natural gas transmission network operator according to the Energy Industry Act, is a critical infrastructure. For the safe operation of all stations, facilities, and the main administration in Kassel, professional, permanently manned security monitoring is required. Existing structures must be expanded and centralized to meet legal requirements and internal safety standards. A security center (SiZe) will be established in Kassel, which will centrally control security-relevant systems (video surveillance, intrusion detection, lone worker monitoring) and operate them 24/7/365 with 2 persons. The service provider will take over the complete control center operation including qualified personnel, alarm handling, and intervention initiation.
