The City of Oberhausen is tendering for communication services to support the redevelopment project of Marktstraße. The project is part of the urban development funding project "Brückenschlag" and forms its central flagship project for the sustainable development of the inner city of Alt-Oberhausen. The aim of the redevelopment is to reposition the Marktstraße as an urban, multifunctional urban space and to sustainably enhance its attractiveness as a location for retail, housing, gastronomy, culture and meeting. The basis for this are the approved use and design concept as well as the updated integrated action concept (IHK). The planning includes the functional and design upgrade of the entire Marktstraße with a differentiated development of the Upper, Central and Lower Marktstraße as well as measures for climate resilience and improvement of the quality of stay. The tendered communication services are to professionally support the planning and implementation process. The aim is to transparently inform the public, residents, businesses and other relevant actors, to promote dialogue and to strengthen acceptance of the project during all project phases.
