78464 Konstanz, Mainaustraße 213, University of Konstanz, Replacement New Construction of Sports Hall, The State of Baden-Württemberg, represented by Vermögen und Bau Baden-Württemberg, Office of Konstanz, as the owner of the state-owned properties of the University of Konstanz, plans to realise a replacement new construction for the university sports hall at the location of Konstanz-Egg. The existing main building (three-court sports hall) is dilapidated after approximately 44 years of intensive teaching and research operations. To ensure a modern and functional sports facility operation for research and teaching, a replacement new construction is envisaged at the same location with a usable area (NUF 1-7) of approximately 2,450 m². Existing extensions are to be preserved and functionally integrated into the design of the replacement new construction. The building is to be designed in terms of building law and fire protection as an assembly hall (for special events by the University). In addition, the planning and realisation of a temporary facility, which is to be erected on the adjacent sports facilities during the construction period, is an integral part of the overall contract. The estimated construction costs amount to 15 million euros net. The construction period is planned from June 2028 to September 2030.
