Denmark – Harbour construction works – Udbud af Hovedentrepriseaftale for Opgradering af havne

A/S Storebælt has taken over Halsskov Havn and Knudshoved Havn, one on each side of the Storebæltsforbindelsen. The ports are to be rebuilt to a stage where, with a four-week mobilisation period, ferries can be deployed between the two ports (hereinafter referred to as "Entreprisen"). The work mainly includes the execution of the following items:

• Establishment of workplace and access conditions, including the possible establishment of work jetties for the landing of building materials.

• Earthworks for dredging in port basins and backfilling behind new quay structures.

• Foundation works including piles, piles and anchor structures for new quay structures.

• Stonework for the establishment of new stone castings in connection with new quay structures and repair of existing moles.

• Establishment of marshalling area.

• Demolition work for the removal of existing structures that are in the way of the execution and use of the new structures for the upgrading of the ferry ports.
