Germany – Construction work for kindergarten buildings – Totalübernehmerleistungen für den Neubau einer 5-gruppigen Kindertagesstätte in 45883 Gelsenkirchen

The contracting authority intends to award a turnkey contract for the new construction of a 5-group day-care centre at Küppersbuschstr. 1a in 45883 Gelsenkirchen as a wood-concrete hybrid building, including all necessary outdoor and ancillary facilities. A feasibility study is currently available. The subject of the contract to be awarded includes all necessary project and specialist planning services as well as construction services for the turnkey erection of the day-care centre. The gross floor area is 1,623 m², of which approximately 887 m² is usable space. The site currently houses the existing building of a 5-group day-care facility, which is vacant due to water damage and will be demolished by the contracting authority. The demolition work is not part of this contract. An interim solution is not required. The current planning envisages organising the group rooms in house-like units that connect to form a courtyard-like ensemble. To accommodate a sufficient number of groups and meet the increasing demand, the day-care centre is planned as a two-storey building. Further details can be found in the feasibility study provided via the tendering platform. The Building Information Modeling (BIM method) is to be applied in the planning. According to the current schedule, the submission of the building application is planned for the 3rd quarter of 2027 and the completion of the day-care centre is planned for the beginning of the 2029/2030 day-care year in August 2029.
