This dynamic purchasing system (DIS) concerns the procurement of medical laser equipment for therapeutic treatment and surgical procedures in ophthalmology. The system includes various types of laser-based equipment used to treat eye conditions and for ophthalmic surgical procedures. The equipment can be used, for example, in the treatment of retinopathy, glaucoma, capsular opacification after cataract surgery, iridotomy, and other therapeutic or surgical procedures on the eye. The DIS may include, but is not limited to, the following types of medical lasers:

Nd:YAG laser (neodymium-yttrium-aluminium-garnet) for example, posterior capsulotomy and iridotomy

Photocoagulation laser for retinal treatment, such as diode lasers, argon lasers or frequency-doubled Nd:YAG lasers (green laser)

Cyclodiode laser for the treatment of glaucoma (cyclophotocoagulation)

Selective trabeculoplasty laser (SLT)

Micropulse laser for retinal therapy

Multispot laser

The DIS also includes associated system components, software, accessories, and integration solutions required for the equipment's function in clinical practice.

The dynamic purchasing system allows for the acceptance of multiple suppliers who can then be invited to submit tenders for individual procurements when the need for specific equipment arises during the system's validity period.
