Germany – Architectural services for buildings – Objektplanungsleistungen für den Neubau der Grundschule am Grafenberg in Herren-berg

The City of Herrenberg, as the contracting authority, intends to build a two-track primary school with full-day care by constructing a new primary school in Kayh/Mönchberg to meet the growing demand for school places and, at the same time, to create a future-proof, sustainable and identity-creating educational institution. The plan is to realise a hybrid timber building using as many regional timbers as possible, which combines ecological, economic and social requirements in a balanced way. The approximately 7,493 m2 site is located on the outskirts of Kayh opposite the Grafenberghalle in a natural environment with orchards. In terms of urban development, the school is to enhance the hitherto unstructured area around the Grafenberghalle and, together with the hall, form a central location for education and encounters. The City of Herrenberg launched a realisation competition with an urban planning ideas section for the planned school building in June 2023. The 1st prize was awarded to KBK Architekten I Belz Lutz, Stuttgart with Möhrle + Partner, Freie Landschaftsarchitekten, Stuttgart. The contractual relationship with KBK Architekten I Belz Lutz, Stuttgart was terminated on 01.07.2026. A new planning office is being sought to continue the project planning services. The planning is at the stage of performance phase 3 according to HOAI. LP 3 must be plausibilised, continued and revised in some areas. The subject of this tendering procedure are the project planning services from LP 3 onwards. A step-by-step award is planned.
