The Central Ostrobothnia well-being area procures catering transport services to be carried out in the central area of Kokkola. The same transport also transports samples, which may arise from the destinations on the route, to the laboratory located in the premises of the Central Ostrobothnia Central Hospital. The transport service includes the transport of meal boxes from pick-up points, the kitchen of the Honkaharju activity centre and the kitchen of the Central Ostrobothnia Central Hospital, to units located in the central area of Kokkola, as well as the return transport of empty meal boxes to the pick-up points. The route starts with the pick-up of meal boxes from the kitchen of the Honkaharju activity centre at 09:45. The route is driven every day of the year, but deliveries are not made to all locations every day of the week. The Central Ostrobothnia well-being area procures transport services according to its own needs and does not commit to a minimum purchase quantity. The procurement contract to be concluded does not include a fixed purchase obligation. The contract period is 3 years and includes the possibility of two (2) 12-month option contract periods. The service production according to the procurement contract begins from 1.1.2027 onwards.
